yoga for every body

Yoga as a Resource for Wellbeing

Yoga is more than a physical practice. Yoga asanas (poses), combined with pranayama (intentional breath), are traditionally intended to prepare the body and mind for meditation.

Through regular yoga practice, we can become more attuned to our senses, and strengthen our body’s ability to self-regulate, increasing our window of tolerance: our nervous system’s capacity to maintain homeostasis in moments of stress. Increasing your window of tolerance can support your ability to remain present throughout life’s stressors.

Sattva Sanctuary offers a safe space to explore union between your mind and body through:

  • power yoga

  • slow, gentle flow

  • restorative yoga

  • yin yoga

  • trauma sensitive yoga

  • sound healing

  • guided meditation

  • breathwork
